Ireland
I love the Irish people, their mannerisms and smiling faces, everything about them.
The countryside is beautiful and there are many shades of green.
The weather only adds to the mystique of the haunted lands and castles; cairns
and Faerie mounds dotting the landscape.
Wales
Although we did not see much of it, Wales was a neat little country, with stone walls bordering
everything and small brooks everywhere. They offer horseback tours that are a
delight.
Scotland
Scotland in the summer takes a bit of getting used to - the sun rose at 0330 and set
near to 2200 in Inverness in July. That's a long day... But other than that it was
stunning countryside and fun cities and castles to tour through.
England
There is no more amazing place to see the rich history of all the British
Isles than in England. Bath, Nottingham, Kent, London - it is all there, the
old and the new. Buckingham Palace is a must-see!

Hello from the British Isles!
Welcome to my British Isles Web Page. I have always been fascinated by the
British Isles and their impact on America. They have the 2,000 years of history
that the United States is missing. Their structure has paved the way for the
excellent legal system that characterizes the U.S. today. I also have been to
the British Isles (way back in the summer of 1985) and have many penfriends
there.
The Celts are an old race that came from the southern countries at one time but as civilizations rise and fell, slowly migrated north, through what is now Western Europe, France (then known as Gaul) and into the British Isles, where they lived with the Picts and Jutes and other races there.
They were the Druids, the lawmakers, doctors and shamans of the communities.
